BarZu a.k.a. Matteo Bonassin, born in Rovinj (Croatia) in 1990, gets in contact with electronic music in 2003, when he starts listening dj's such as Carl Cox, Umek, V. Kanzyani, M. Bailey, Speedy J, Christian Varela & many more. He bought his first dj equipment in 2006, and from there to now he learned how to combine different genres of music in the best way. His genre could be defined as a mixture of Progressive/Tech House with some Electro & Trance influence.
DJ's & producers like Cedric Gervais, EDX, Dirty South, Tocadisco, Zoo Brazil, Phunk Investigation, Jay Lumen, Patch Park, Ashley Wallbridge... keep influencing his view of electronic music. Nowadays he is engaged by oganizations like Tuborg, Energetica & Monvi Center.
He played at clubs like - Temple, Los Amigos, Presidente (Monvi, Rovinj), Mojito (Rovinj), Euphoria (Zrće, Novalja), Fun Academy (Rijeka), Palach (Rijeka), Gruw (Rijeka), Guru (Umag), Beach Bar Bamboo (Umag), LightHOUSE (Vodnjan), Seven (Opatija), Fanatik (Zagreb), Boogaloo (Zagreb) - and festivals like: David Guetta (Arena, Zagreb), Enter Music Festival (Bačvice, Split), Hallowind (Fort Punta Christo, Pula).
